Part:BBa_R2001
Designed by: Ronny Krashinsky Group: Antiquity (2004-01-29)
Promoter, Zif23 regulated, test: after
Promoter with standard -10 and -35 sites. A symmetric Zif23 dimer target site is after the -10 site.
Usage and Biology
See [Wolfe00] regarding Zif23.
This promoter successfully drives transcription of GSP when placed upstream of BBa_E0840. It is a strong promoter. When placed upstream of BBa_E0240, the fluorescence levels are comparable to background.
